I recently recieved the Primus ClassicTrail camp stove for christmas from my sister. This stove sure beats the old propane stove I used to use. The stove runs on iso/butane and can boil water in just under 3 minutes. The stove looks as if it could be dropkicked off a cliff and would still work. It is built to take abuse. I like the wide burner as it avoids burning the centre of the pot. The 4 supports are strong and act as a kind of wind break that helps get the stove started.

This is a no frills stove. You are basically limited to off, low, med and high setting all controlled by the dial under the stove. That is really the only moving part. The stove is easily attached to the fuel canister by screwing it on. This is a stove a dummy could operate.
The only downfall is the weight. Weighing in at 8oz it's not a light stove but then again I'm not going on any 34 day epics any time soon. The price is only $25.00 from MEC so you really can not go wrong.
Thanks sis.
